Spike's Video Game Awards 2010 are over and it is a reckoning time for
Blizzard's StarCraft 2. Fortunately for all the fans, the successor of
BroodWar did not come home empty-handed.
Although it could not compete for the "Game of the Year" award due to not being nominated, SC2: Wings of Liberty managed to win the title of "Best PC Game", defeating names like Mass Effect 2, Civilization V and Fallout: New Vegas.
The second prize in Blizzard's pocket is thanks to Tricia Helfer, who won the "Best Performance by a Human Female" for her incarnation as Sarah Kerrigan.
Unfortunately, Wings of Liberty suffered a defeat in the third category in which it was nominated - "Best Multiplayer Game", the winner being Halo: Reach.
